Walkers River Camp

Situated at the south western end of the 1065ha Schoongezicht farm in the western corner of the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, the idyllic setting of Walkers River Camp makes you believe that you’re in the middle of nowhere. The lodge shares a common unfenced border with the Kruger National Park allowing animals free range and ensuring guests to the area the opportunity to view the greatest diversity of wildlife that Africa has to offer. Guests are able to view the big game from open vehicles, on foot or from the comfort of your room as you experience timeless Africa. Walkers River Camp accommodates a maximum of 8 people in private suites all with baths, outdoor showers, separate toilets and enclosed mosquito nets covering the beds. The open plan lounge and dining areas include a fireplace for those cooler evenings, open air dining and a fire pit, the perfect place to end the day with stories around the campfire.
